Talking: The Enemy of Effective Parenting

As parents we tend to talk as a primary mode of teaching behavior. We say something. And then we say it again. And then we say it again. And again. Then, when we get the feeling that our kids are not paying attention, it gets very frustrating – both for them and for us. And then it goes bad.
