Creating an emotionally safe and healthy family setting is critical for our children and it helps them move forward with strength and resilience. The root of adult emotional struggles can often be traced back to our relationships with our families. It is undeniable that our initial experiences with our parents and siblings mold our view of the world into early adulthood and often throughout the lifespan.
Struggles within families can range from the typical: family discord, fighting and difficult relationships; to the severe: including aggression and violence and dangerous non-compliance in children. Family therapy can be an effective intervention to return the family to stability and emotional safety.
Jude will work with you to help return your family to the safe emotional space that you want it to be for your children and for yourself. This can take place in several different configurations, but often focuses on the parents’ role in creating this change.
