Child and Adolescent Therapy

Children struggle with a variety of challenges in today’s world. They’re expected to manage their time in light of an ever-increasing set of distractions. They do this with a small but developing skill set that does not yet lend itself well to independent direction. Therapy is often seen as a solution to the many struggles that children face both within and outside of the family setting.

Jude’s approach to helping children allows for a critical look at the needs of that particular situation. Often Jude will ask parents: “What am I bringing to the table that you can’t?”  His preferred mode of intervention is working with parents to create the most helpful and healthy set of expectations and structure for their children. Individual therapy is also provided when indicated, for children who can engage in the process of treatment.
