Resilience

Building resilience in children allows them to push through the hard stuff, which in turn helps them progress and become increasingly confident. How do kids build resilience? Mostly through everyday opportunities: having chores, helping around the house, finishing out the soccer season  when they want to quit, practicing a musical instrument, finishing their homework, learning to regulate their behavior.

Life will teach resilience to our children…as long as we don’t get in the way.
